MLP financing consultants use CAPTIQ credit platform for regulated professionals
Flexible and efficient alternative to traditional bank financing
Advisor dashboard simplifies applying for and managing loans for sophisticated customer group
CAPTIQ has won MLP, one of Germany's leading financial services providers, as its first sales partner for the use of its credit platform. MLP consultants can use the offer, which is specially tailored to the needs of regulated professionals, to digitally broker loans of between €10,000 and €250,000 for their clients. The loan application is submitted, checked and paid out within a few days.
'We are delighted that right at the start of our alternative lending platform we have gained MLP as a partner, a financial services provider that has specialized in advising academics in the private client business for more than fifty years,' comments Lorenz Beimler, one of the two CAPTIQ managing directors. 'Through the collaboration, MLP consultants will have access to our dashboard, where loan applications can be submitted digitally in a matter of minutes. Usually, the MLP consultant receives the final loan agreement within one business day. The customer then only has to complete two steps: An electronic contract signature and digital legitimation. The loan is then disbursed in one to two working days by our partner, Solaris SE from Berlin. The efficiency for the MLP consultants and their clients is what scores the most points here.'
Financial consulting with a focus on academics
MLP sees itself as a partner in all financial matters. The company serves around 560,000 private and 24,600 corporate clients in Germany. 'Despite a wide range of public funding, traditional bank financing for the start of self-employment can also be a challenge for most regulated professionals,' comments Marc-Philipp Unger, Head of Financing at MLP. 'We took a close look at CAPTIQ's offer and see it as a good alternative. The simple and fast process convinced us, in addition to the good conditions.'
A great many regulated professionals seek advice from financial experts when setting up a practice or needing financing, as well as on issues relating to insurance, pension provision and asset accumulation. When granting loans, for example for the takeover or opening of a practice, they have so far been unable to avoid working with banks. However, especially for the area of small loans up to €250,000, there are often rejections or delays here due to the high processing costs. 'Through our fully digitized process, we can help financial advisors serve this underserved segment even for amounts starting at €10,000. In this way, we enable advisors to build and consolidate interesting customer relationships in the long term,' says CAPTIQ Managing Director Soraya Braun.
Application process and inventory management completely digitized
CAPTIQ has not only completely digitized the loan process. Submitting documents via the dashboard created specifically for advisors takes just a few minutes. The consultant fills out a short questionnaire and uploads the financial data. For founders, the business plan is submitted or created using an online tool. The dashboard also securely manages a consultant's ongoing contracts. The effort is minimal, leaving more time for personal consulting.
Without the need to provide collateral, all business projects are financed, for example the acquisition of a practice or law firm, the purchase of equipment or devices, the provision of working capital or liquidity, modernization or expansion of business operations, debt restructuring or the buy-out of a partner/shareholder.
