Shortly after the business idea for the startup was born, our CEOs Soraya Braun and Lorenz Beimler decide to found CAPTIQ. By the way, CAPTIQ is a portmanteau of Capital & IQ.
We stand for intelligent financing
With CAPTIQ, we offer regulated professionals the first alternative and trustworthy online financing and thus come one step closer to our vision. Together with our stakeholders, we want to offer our customers more planning security, more flexibility and better access to financing - we want to help make dreams come true.
Nothing is more important to us than the satisfaction of our customers. In doing so, we also want to constantly improve and develop ourselves and our first product to create the best possible user experience and prove that financing can also be simple and transparent.
Through the intergenerational contract that we create with our innovative credit value chain, we bring all market participants together in a value-creating way. Ultimately, our cooperations are based above all on long-term relationships, trust, and joint development in order to grow together.
The idea for CAPTIQ arose during the studies of our managing directors. As part of a research project, they were investigating lending platforms, which were still relatively new at the time. By chance, a related pediatrician reported massive difficulties with start-up financing at the time. The loan amount of 100,000€ was not economically attractive enough for the house bank, and the application processing also dragged on for several weeks.
Quickly our founders realized that about 90% of all regulated professionals cannot be served adequately for their qualification. Especially loans up to 250.000€ posed difficulties, because they are hardly profitable for the banks. A suitable alternative financing, which meets our time, did not exist.
For these economically and socially extremely important professional groups, our founders Soraya Braun & Lorenz Beimler have set up something special. From the beginning, the project was a matter of the heart with the will to give something back.
