Strategic cooperation with Hoesch & Partner
The Frankfurt-based fintech start-up CAPTIQ is now cooperating with Hoesch & Partner, one of the largest owner-managed insurance brokers in Germany. The cooperation pursues the goal of offering Hoesch & Partner GmbH's customers digital access to alternative financing solutions that are specifically tailored to the needs of regulated professionals (e.g. doctors, lawyers, tax consultants or architects). The implementation of the CAPTIQ web application on the online platform www.hoesch-partner.de is to be realized this year
CAPTIQ offers the first online financing solution specifically designed to meet the needs of regulated professionals. This means that non-financing self-employed persons such as freelancers now also have access to digital offers for alternative business financing. This is because regulated professions in particular are increasingly confronted with a credit-rationed market in traditional bank financing. This predominantly affects start-ups and small loan amounts of less than EUR 100,000, which are economically unattractive for conventional banks due to the high regulatory requirements and low interest income.
CAPTIQ has developed a solution for broker pools and independent financing and investment advisors that enables digital and automated lending to regulated professionals. Financing requests can be made easily and quickly via the CAPTIQ web application. Algorithms developed for the selective determination of a default rate specifically for founders and non-financing legal forms determine the creditworthiness. Subsequently, the loans are disbursed in the shortest possible time (1 to 5 business days, depending on the type of loan), which in turn are refinanced by institutional investors via the investor structure provided by CAPTIQ.
The two CAPTIQ managing directors and founders Soraya Braun and Lorenz Beimler see the strategic partnership with such a market-relevant provider as Hoesch & Partner as strong evidence of the need for a specific financing product for this highly attractive niche. 'On the one hand, there are end customers here who have little understanding of extended process chains at banks,' says Soraya Braun. 'On the other side are banks, which are increasingly becoming competitors for advisors and are increasingly offering advisory services such as retirement planning and insurance or linking lending to more profitable commission business,' says Lorenz Beimler. CAPTIQ is a solution that enables an efficient financing process without jeopardizing the customer's loyalty to the advisor.
'CAPTIQ hits the nerve of the time and creates a win-win situation: The sophisticated digital scoring filters out - in the group of regulated professions, which is already equipped with manageable risk - those who are promising and finances them in the shortest possible time. A standardized solution of this kind has been lacking until now, as we know from many conversations with today's successful entrepreneurs. We are happy to provide our customers with this added value and further refine the positive customer experience with our premium insurance service,' says Michael Reeg, Managing Director of Hoesch & Partner, explaining the strategic cooperation.
